  • Aluminum adjustment wheels with clearly identified tuning settings from 1 (soft) to 10 (hard)
  • Color-coding: red for rebound force, blue for compression force
  • Manually adjustable without additional tools
  • Each definite click of the wheel confirms the simple and quick damping force adjustment
  • Wheel camber is adjustable by aluminum support bearing
  • Weight advantage by eliminating the need for an external oil reservoir
  • BILSTEIN-monotube technology developed through years of motorsport involvement
  • Spring plates and lock nuts made from special aluminium alloy
  • Quality built racing springs
  • Roadworthy: TÜV certificate according to Section 19 of the German Road Traffic
  • Licensing Regulations (StVZO)
  • Extremely easy to install and simple to use
  • Can be retrofitted for racing in cooperation with BILSTEIN-Motorsport on request
  • Surface coating using Triple-C-Technology® for long-lasting corrosion resistance

The 2-way adjustable suspension system, complete with integrated reservoir, provides a significant weight advantage for racing and clubsport use compared to systems with external reservoirs. Rebound and compression forces can be adjusted independently via the two easily accessible motorsport-proven aluminum adjustment dials inside the vehicle, enabling the suspension setup to be changed quickly and accurately at all times.

With 10 click positions for rebound and 10 click positions for compression, a wide range of handling options can be selected in just seconds, allowing for instant back-to-back set-up modification and testing. The combination of adjustable wheel camber and ride height with the 100 possible valving settings, make it possible to fine-tune the suspension setup based on the specific racetrack, weather conditions and vehicle weight, as well as driver and tire specifications.

Triple-C-Technology®. To ensure that you can fine-tune your vehicle exactly how you want it, Bilstein threaded ride height adjustable kits are easy to adjust – even when they’re installed. Allowing you to find the perfect balance for your vehicle. Bilstein 3-layer coating system, developed especially with threaded ride height adjustable kits in mind, guarantees high-quality, enduring corrosion protection. The special zinc alloy ensures excellent adherence to the base material, and forms the basis for longlasting corrosion protection. The middle coating transforms the zinc layer into a closed-formation, homogenous surface. Not only is the top coat aesthetically pleasing, it also provides additional, long-term protection against mechanical wear and corrosion. Endurance tests to DIN 50021 SS also testify to this: for Bilstein material, being subjected to salt spray for over 600 hours is like water off a duck’s back – compare that with the 418 hours boasted by stainless steel.

Gas Pressure Technology. Over time, the mono-tube gas pressure technology developed by BILSTEIN has established itself as a standard in automotive construction. This technology involves keeping the oil in the absorber under pressure, which prevents it from foaming when temperatures and loads are increasing. As a result, full damping power is retained even when the system is placed under extreme stress, a feature that can be observed in the self-lowering piston.

Mono-tube Upside-Down Technology. The original and best: The original mono-tube gas pressure shock absorbers bore the BILSTEIN name, and we’re still responsible for producing the best there is. BILSTEIN’s mono-tube technology is the number-one choice in motorsports and series-production sports cars: no other type gives engineers the same freedom to choose the perfect installation location or position (e.g. Upside-Down technology).

Road-Tested by Bilstein. To achieve that celebrated BILSTEIN driving experience, BILSTEIN engineers rely on not only technology that is truly at the cutting edge, but also something that has withstood the test of time: how it feels to the driver. As a result, all of Bilstein high-performance absorbers, as well as Bilstein sport suspensions and threaded ride height adjustable kits, undergo a rigorous testing programme. On the Nürburgring and in Bilstein own test centre at the Papenburg test track, Bilstein drivers test how balanced the driving characteristics of various vehicles are in a variety of different driving situations. Only when they have passed this programme of tests with distinction are they allowed to bear the BILSTEIN name. This way, Bilstein can guarantee that celebrated BILSTEIN driving experience.

Threaded Body Adjustable Range. Just as no two vehicles are the same, each driver has their own unique style too. As a result, Bilstein threaded ride height adjustable kits even enable you to alter the height of your vehicle when they are installed. Spring plates and lock nuts made from a special aluminium alloy ensure maximum stability at a minimum weight. Specially developed round threads and coating technology for easy adjustment by up to 20 mm; with German TÜV certificate. Perfect pre-tensioning of sport springs made from highly durable material, at each setting and in every situation, for solid driving characteristics

In 1954, Bilstein® was the first to realize the potential offered by an idea of Prof. Bourcier de Carbon, a French researcher in the field of vibrations. The aim was to eliminate the physical disadvantages of the conventional telescopic shock absorbers, whilst at the same time making the dampers lighter and able to be fitted in any position. The name Bilstein has for many decades been closely associated with high tech in the field of suspension design, driving comfort and safety. In order to expand this position in the future, Bilstein became a division of ThyssenKrupp Technologies AG in 1988, and a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2005. The partnership and co-operation within the group will enable the company to continue to inspire with innovations in the traditional Bilstein way.
