Carbon finish is smooth and clear. Leather seems to be durable (thick material) and feels good in the hand. Stitching is very well made and I see no reason why it shouldn't hold in every day use for years to come. Overall appearance is very good and it bolted right in (obviously, since it was correct wheel), only problem I have now is that I need to paint my air bag cover black to match that outer rim, but thats something I knew I had to do, because this steering wheel came exactly as I expected and to be honest, the quality was better than I thought it would be. The whole thing is clearly made by professional with high skills in craftmanship, absolutely no complaints and I'm happy with the product. Also worth mentioning is that the whole order process was smooth and customer service was as it should be: top quality. The wheel came in secure package so well covered, that there was no scratches or anything (I ordered to Europe Finland, so it came a long way). Pros: -Pretty much everything was as expected or above. Durable materials and smooth finish. - Easy order process and good customer service. - Looks better than the original. Cons: - Need to paint my air bag cover black (no issue, this was me trying to be humorous). - Not really an issue with the new steering wheel, but sending back my old wheel to get core deposit refunded cost a bit (since I was sending it from Europe I had to pay for the mail myself, but I knew that in advance, so it's not really an issue about CARiD or the product). Overall, very happy with the new steering wheel. Thanks. :)

Absolutely great steering wheel! It'll make you feel like you are driving a brand new vehicle. However, I never did get the "instructions" on how to return the original core. So if you buy, make sure the full price seems like a worthy deal for your budget.

This replacement wheel looks better than the factory and should have been an option form Jeep! Love the gloss carbon fiber and the way it feels on the top part of the wheel. Leather is excellent with quality stitching, better than stock. Was a little scared of removing air bag, but it turned out to very easy. Just make sure you disconnect battery for an hour to be safe. Was delivered in a couple of weeks as promised and had no issues. Be sure to rent a wheel puller from local auto parts store to make removal easy.

I had to wait much, much longer than expected for delivery because manufacturer had to back order the item. CARiD kept me well informed about the delays and provided detailed information about the delivery (tracking number, etc.) once the item was shipped from the manufacturer. The appearance and quality of the steering wheel when it arrived, was excellent. We ordered matte mahogany wood grain and were surprised how dull the wood was, when it arrived. Of course, we should not have been since matte means "without shine" , but we missed that since we interpreted matte to be a type of mahogany. And my wife is an interior designer and should have caught that. So you should perhaps note in your description that matte mahogany is "without shine". We simply waxed the wood a bit and that brought out its natural luster and it looks great in the car. In fact, my wife said that she thinks it might look better than if we had gotten the high gloss wood finish.

The CARiD folks put together a customer steering wheel for my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was a full leather wheel. I was very pleased at the quality of materials and quality of work. The wheel was an exact replacement for my stock wheel and installed with no issues. I could not be more pleased with their product.

Received the new wheel last week, and had my mechanic install it this week. It looks great. The quality of the workmanship on the leather and the wood is excellent.
