Gripp™ Subframe Connector Kit by BBK®. Installing these subframe connectors will take the flex out of the chassis, especially on convertible models. These super strong box frame connectors tie the front and rear subframes together to give the car the support of a full-frame chassis. Whether it's hooking up at the drag strip or corner carving a road course, these subframe connectors will improve your car's performance. Constructed from fully welded boxed steel that's completely sealed and powder coated gloss gray metallic.

Chassis flex on unibody cars like the Mustang has always been a problem, especially on convertibles, and it gets even worse when you modify the engine to extract more horsepower and bolt on a set of big sticky meats. The solution to chassis flex is to bolt or weld on a set of Gripp subframe connectors. These connectors are constructed from heavy-duty boxed steel like you would find on the best full-frame vehicles, and installing them will give your unibody full-frame like strength and rigidity. With these connectors installed, instead of chassis flex you'll get tire hook-up for better acceleration and traction in the corners for precision steering.
Featuring precision welds and die-stamped brackets, each connector is fully sealed and powdercoated gloss gray metallic for durability and maximum visual appeal. Each set comes complete with hardware for a bolt-on installation, but welding the connectors in place is recommended for maximum strength. These subframes are available in a version that includes "seat-mounting brackets", which reinforce the flex-prone floor pan under the front seats.
The Gripp Subframe Connector Kit is backed by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship, as long as the product was installed according to BBK guidelines.
