Universal Varitune Series™ Stainless Steel Oval Gray Exhaust Muffler by BBK®. Muffler Sound: Aggressive / Loud. Muffler Configuration: Offset - Offset. This revolutionary performance muffler is fully adjustable for sound and horsepower. It transforms from a mild three-chamber to a more radical straight-through design by simply moving the adjustment screw on the back of the muffler. Depending on the application, it may increase sound volume up to 8 decibels while ensuring an additional 10 to 15 horsepower over stock.

The revolutionary design of the Varitune performance mufflers by BBK is the first of its kind in the aftermarket. These American designed and built performance mufflers allow you to go from a mild three-chamber muffler to a more radical straight-through design increasing both horsepower and sound in just minutes by opening up the adjuster screw on the back of the muffler. As you adjust the muffler open, it allows the exhaust to bleed through and bypass the second baffle and go straight through the outlet tube!
With just a twist of a screw, you get a richer throatier exhaust note, increasing sound intensity by up to 8 decibels. Depending on a vehicle, this can also change the performance characteristics, giving you an additional 10-15 horsepower. Having the muffler adjusted all the way in 'closed' will make the sound of the exhaust the quietest. The Varitune mufflers are available in aluminized or stainless steel, in 2.5", 2.75" and 3.0" and with various offsets to fit most aftermarket and OEM applications.
