Many Auto Meter gauge pods and pillars are designed to be installed easily with ratchet fasteners. These fasteners are commonly used by the OEMs to secure a variety of panels, because they’re easy to install and don’t leave any unsightly screw or bolt heads. Fasteners are supplied with the pod/pillar, but since they’re designed for one-time use, they should be replaced if it becomes necessary to remove the panel. These replacement pod/pillar fasteners are sold in packages of 10 or 100.
