It is a company based in Coal Township, Pennsylvania, which manufactures high-quality but reasonably priced bumpers, skid plates, body armor, and other accessories for off-road vehicles. The company’s founder, Dan “Tubby” Billig decided to turn his hobby into a business in 2011. He started welding when he was 14 to make something for himself and fabricate reinforced buggy-style Jeep frames for his friends. The decision to make a living from that was made based on overwhelmingly encouraging response to his handiwork.

Over the years, Affordable Offroad company gained popularity among off-road enthusiasts who like to modify their Jeeps, Dodge Ram trucks, International Scouts, Ford, GMC, and Toyota trucks and SUVs. Affordable Offroad bumpers are made from high-grade steel able to reinforce your vehicle and prepare it for hardships of any rough terrain. The company manufacturers front and back bumpers with brush guards and winch mounts. Bull bars can effectively protect the radiator grille and winch from damage in case of a collision with some thick tree branch or rock. All Affordable Offroad XJ bumpers come with strong shackle tabs and feature simple bolt-on installation.

Many products come with self-tapping bolts for fastening parts to box frame rails where it is impossible to use lock nuts on the other side. You just drill a hole in one of the sides and screw in a bolt that cuts its own threads in sheet metal. To cut costs, Affordable Offroad ships its products without any coatings. Note that raw metal is very susceptible to corrosion, so it is highly recommended spray painting it or sending your new accessories to a shop for powder coating.
