The aFe company operates a cutting-edge production facility in Corona, California where the coilovers are precisely CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, hard anodized, and then carefully assembled. Since the oil and nitrogen gas are separated by a floating piston in the mono-tube architecture, the system offers a more consistent feel and predictable handling on the road. The coilovers use double digressive valve technology, so a single easy-to-use rotary knob may be used to regulate both compression and rebound.

The front and rear shocks have 24 separate settings that range from a smooth street ride to racing settings. With proper damping adjustment, you may choose a setting that is comfortable for everyday driving while still providing outstanding performance. The adjustment knob controls both the rebound and compression damping and is conveniently located at the bottom of the shock. Reaching the adjustment knobs in the front or rear requires neither drilling nor adapters. A single, simple-to-use spring perch is used to adjust the ride height, allowing for a maximum drop of two inches. For more aggressive wheel and tire combinations, the CNC machined and TIG welded front upright mounts provide additional tire clearance.
