2009 Hyundai Genesis Trunk Trim

I purchase this product to balance out the back of my car. The Genesis has lots of chrome already, but it did seem unbalanced because of the top trim, just below the H emblem on the trunk. I accidentally bend my first rear deck trim during installation. So, I ordered a replacement. The second trim was bent during shipping. It is important you check your order within the time allotted. I sent a note to the customer service and they delivered me a replacement part. During installation, I first fit the piece on the trunk without removing the adhesive backing. When I have the trim positioned correctly, I taped it down with blue painters tape. I centered the trim left and right. I left a 1/8 inch reveal along the bottom edge of the trim need the trunk edge. I can just see about an 1/8 inch of white paint from the trunk below the trim. To complete installation, I exposed the adhesive by pulling the plastic from one side. I slow exposed the adhesive and press the trim to the trunk. As I encountered a piece of tape, I simply removed it and pulled the plastic backing to expose the adhesive. Perfectly installed.
