2007 Audi A4 Base Rack Systems

Rack is stable: 3 out of 5. Acceptable, as 4/5 would be custom made but not prebuilt. Aesthetic is sleek: 4 out of 5. Once the locks are attached these look decent. The blockyness of the bar and holders is apparent. Quality: 1 out 5. This is the cheapest mass manufactured self install roof rack available. Be reasonable. The bar is very lightweight, so much so the clamps can permanently warp it if too tight. The clamps are all one piece so when adjusting the fingers be sure to check the bar clamp after. Worst part: The fingers are bulky. So bulky my door doesn’t shut. I’ve moved them to the best location to close the door but it makes them look terrible. Having them in this position also makes it harder to strap shorter belongings. This is the worst thing about it. That can be good or bad; if you’re looking for a solution for a two or three time use - here you go, if not, you need to raise your price level.
