2006 Dodge Ram Bed Accessories

I purchased this instead of having custom overland drawers built and truthfully I regret my decision. These are construction type drawers, not good looking, not refined and not built that well either. Although they are a cheaper alternative these drawers have several short comings that make them anything but useful for a construction truck. First the HDPE is just that, plastic instead of wood which would normally be a good thing for longevity however they used spiral nails to assemble rather than screws!!! During installation the turnbuckle actually pulled a nail out (should have been screws) causing the side to become detached, which I fixed with a wood screw. These are not on ball bearing tracks, they just slide on rails. This works because it is plastic but longevity wise this is going to cause problems in the future. The handles are nice and solid and it does slide well with a loaded drawer considering the lack of hardware used. My biggest complaint is there is no lock out feature on these drawers (do not buy because of this). Fill it up with tools or whatever, park your truck on a hill and the drawers slam closed. Have nearly gotten my fingers several times now!! Customer service was great as I ordered dividers directly from the company. However, (do not buy) the dividers as they are not a good fit and are poorly designed. There is enough play that the divider slides back and forth while driving, which wouldn't be a big deal if it didn't slide against the lock making the drawer latch unable to function ( I am using one divider in the center and two cross pieces per drawer). Yep, there has been several times the divider has made it where I couldn't open the drawer!! All in all, I would say spend a little more for a lot better product from some other companies. My next rig will not have these in it!
