Nissan Xterra Raised Siderails 2005, Roof Cargo Basket by Garvin Wilderness®. Dimensions: 51.5" L x 30" W x 4" H. The Garvin Wilderness Roof Racks were designed especially for fiberglass tops and vehicle applications that do not have O.E.M. factory Roof Racks. The Roof Rack system incorporates two aluminum black powder coated strips, specially designed roof Roof Rack mounting Roof Brackets and all mounting hardware. The mounting Roof Racks are included with Roof Rack. The Roof Rack Roof Racks are available in either the Off Road Series(6"H) or Sport Series(4"H). Roof Rack Roof Racks are available for most vehicles.

Garvin Industries warrants each new Garvin product against factory defects in material and workmanship, directly to the first purchaser for as long as said purchaser owns the vehicle that the product was originally mounted on. Garvin Industries will, without charge, repair or replace at its option, products or product parts which its inspection determines to be defective. Exclusions from this warranty are the finish, rusting of any kind, and any condition(s) determined by Garvin Industries to have been caused by abnormal use or service. This warranty shall not apply to any Garvin Industries product specified above which has been improperly installed.

There are no warranties, expressed or implied (including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness), which extend beyond this warranty period. The loss of use of the product, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss or consequential damages are not covered. Garvin Industries reserves the right to change the design of any product without assuming any obligation to modify any product previously manufactured.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. Love It.

Very well packaged. Very well constructed. Went together perfectly. Fit my 2012 Xterra perfectly. Works great! I am very hard to please and I have been thrilled with this. Does exactly what I needed it to do.

So Far So Good

I've only had the rack for a few weeks and haven't had a real chance to put it to use but if the attention to the shipping packaging, instructions, and general feel and appearance of the product is any indication, it will do the its job handily. Definitely made of quality parts and the measurements for assembly were spot on. No misaligned holes etc. Assembly was fairly straightforward and except for placing on the roof for mounting, an easy one person job. I did put it on the roof myself but it would've been easy to slip and scratch the vehicle. I didn't. It would be nice if it had an optional wire/mesh flooring to place over the floor bars to keep smaller items (wood 2x4, pipes etc.) from falling sideways or between the bars but i'm sure I can rig something up myself. Hopefully I can submit an update to this review later on after I have given this rack a good workout but as I have already written, I don't predict any problems. Seems to be a great quality product. Good looking too. Low on the roofline so barely noticeable yet when you do it has a good rugged appeal.

Perfect Roof Rack!

The installation took about 1.5hrs. I took my time and even applied locktite on every fastener. The rack looks amazing and is a wonderful addition to the look of the SUV. Friends and family I asked couldn't even notice it until I pointed it out to them, which I like. It has a factory look to its design. What's best is it adds at best, maybe am inch of clearance to the overall hight of the SUV. Extremely durable and robust design. I highly recommend this roof rack for anyone whom needs something more then just the OEM bars you get.

Garvin Adventure Rack for XTerra

Pros: Arrived on time Excellent instructions Looks great Sturdy and serviceable Installation Time 1-1/2 hours. Cons: Two floor rods had rivet nuts that were not crimped, rendering them useless. This is a manufacturing error and a QA error. However, kit came w/ 6 floor rods, I only needed 4.
