2004 Nissan Maxima Wood Dash Kits

I purchased this Sherwood Dash Kit to replace a few damaged pieces from the Sherwood Medium Burl (real wood) Kit I installed back in 2007. I studied the CARiD webpage and consulted by phone with Josh @ CARiD to assure a match. The new Sherwood 2D-1547-N50 Walnut Burl Wood kit failed to meet my expectations as to quality and color/pattern match. I suspect their 2018 manufacturing process for these kits has changed.The flimsier quality and imitation wood-look just is not up to the superior qualities of the real wood kit I got from them back in 2007. The new kit did not even come close matching color and pattern of my existing kit. I recommend requesting product samples before purchase. Both the webpage and CARiD reps cannot assure a near-match of pattern and color. The good news is I requested a refund/replacement credit within the 30 day return period. CARiD has been very good so far providing return procedures. I will review again after my issue is resolved.
