A Few Things Amiss.
ACC® - Polished Door Sills
Possibly unique to a 1996 (and maybe a 1995): The middle screw hole is drilled about 1/4" too far to the left. This results in you having to drill two holes in the frame instead of just one. The supplied 9/64" drill bit is only good for drilling one hole before going dull. You will need to buy extra bits. When drilling the far left screw hole you will need an angle drill as the door does not open far enough to allow use of a standard drill. A stubby screw driver will be needed because of the same tight clearance. I realize that the instructions are a bit universal, but how much trouble would it be to add notes about different interior trim? The instructions say to remove the screws on the carpet on the door and replace them with the supplied screws in order to pull the carpet back for additional clearance for the sill. A 1996 does not have carpet, it has a plastic panel of which the screws are canceled behind plastic plugs. I found it unnecessary to make any modification to the door panel as the door closes just fine.
