Too Big

Wheelskins® 14 1/2 X 4 1/4-19-01PERF - EuroPerf Perforated Charcoal Steering Wheel Cover with Black Sides Color

Towards the end of the lacing it became wrinkled and not smooth like rest of the wheel. I have installed a few of these and never have I had this happen. Not happy with results.

Nice Cover - Could Be a Bit ‘Tighter’

I have purchased several of these (same brand/type) and like them very much! My only suggestion is to make them a bit ‘tighter’. There tend to be some loose areas where it crosses the frame areas. I did discover that blue tack works to adhere the loose areas- so my hands don’t feel them as the wheel spins!

High quality and great looks. Took some time and effort to install. Fit around open part of wheel was good, but difficult to get it right around spokes. Then what to do about loose portion behind spokes is not clear. A little pricey but then again, it is real leather, not some manufactured material.

Nicely Done.

Purchased this for a 2015 Subaru Forester whose outer vinyl covering was flaking at the top of the wheel. Guess the Florida sun was too much for it. I thought I was getting a split ring type and was a little disappointed that it uses waxed string to secure it over the wheel. I was a little intimidated and thought about returning it. I'm glad I didn't; the instructions were clear and with a little patience and care you should have no problem installing it. I only had to unthread it partially one time when I accidentally got a loop of thread around the wheel. Also they tell you to fully unwind all the thread prior to beginning the threading. This led to a few snags on the seat belt latches but just an annoyance not a deal breaker and it got easier as I made progress around the wheel. It's been on for over a month now with no slippage, fraying or any kind of problem. It fits good, looks good and my wife is very happy with it. I only gave it 3 stars for ease of installation due to the tedious nature of it.
