Front Component Details
On the front of the Pure Line 1000W Inverter you'll find: two 3-prong ground fault protected AC outlets (NEMA 5-15), 3 position power switch (On/Off), 2.1A USB Power Port, Power, Ground Fault, and Error Lights, and the Solid Mounting Feet.
Rear Component Details
On the rear of the Pure Line 1000W Inverter, you'll find: the Negative (Black) Battery Terminal, Positive (Red) Battery Terminal, Cooling Fan, Solid Mounting Feet, and a Grounding Terminal.

Why Pure Sine Waves over Modified Sine Waves?
For today's sensitive electronics, it makes a huge difference. Pure Sine Waves (PSW) allows these electronics to run cooler (less cycling), cleaner, and with less noise. PSW is the output form that comes from the AC Wall outlet in your house and is the most clean. Additionally, some sensitive electronics and appliances simply will not operate on a Modified Sine Wave. For example: some laptops, printers, coffee makers, dimmers, digital clocks, fluorescent lights, fans, microwaves, and battery chargers. TrueRated Power™
TrueRated Power is Wagan Tech's coined term for truth in advertising and performance. Simply put, their TrueRated inverters are tested at full load (the number printed on the inverter) and will sustain that load continuously for 24 hours.
For example, their Elite 1000 Watt Pro Inverter will run for 24 hours straight with a 1000 Watt load. Their competitors claim "continuous wattage" when in fact most are only rated at 20 minutes of continuous wattage. After 20 minutes, the competitors output wattage will drop down by as much as 25% of their claimed wattage (in a 1000 watt inverter, that can be a 100 watt loss!).
