In addition to turn signal bulbs, we also offer replacement bulbs for side marker lamps, which were first installed on passenger cars in 1968. Side marker lamps are located at the front and rear sides of a vehicle and enable you to detect a vehicle to the side or approaching from an angle at night. On some vehicles the turn signals and side marker lamps are separate and use a different bulb, while on others they are incorporated in one light housing.

We offer direct replacement original equipment incandescent bulbs to make repairs to your turn signals and side marker lamps, but we also have bright, long-lasting LED bulbs if you want to upgrade your lighting. Our replacement OE bulbs will fit the same and provide the same degree of illumination and durability as bulbs from a dealer, but at a much better price. And upgrading is easy, because our replacement LED bulbs are manufactured to fit in the same location as the OE bulb and require no modifications to your vehicle.

LEDs have several advantages over incandescent bulbs. They’re much brighter, which can make your vehicle more visible and increase your driving safety, and on many applications you have a choice of luminosities. They’re also insensitive to vibration, an important consideration if you regularly drive over rough roads or off-road. Another important benefit is their long life-span, as much as 25 times longer than comparable incandescent bulbs. This means that the LED bulbs you purchase today will probably be the last replacement turn signal light bulbs you’ll ever have to buy for your car.

Some vehicles have cornering lights that come on when the turn signals are activated. These lights are located on the front fenders and may be combined with the turn signals and/or side marker lights. They shine light in the direction the vehicle is being turned to illuminate dark corners and help the driver see the curb and any other obstacles that may be present. We have replacement cornering light bulbs with standard OE level halogen performance as well as optional halogen bulbs that are up to 50% brighter, and cast a beam that is much wider and extends further for increased visibility.

How Does a Halogen Light Bulb Work?
Today, halogen bulbs are most often used for headlights and fog lights, and their increased light output increases driver visibility in darkness and inclement weather. Halogen bulbs are a variant of the traditional incandescent bulbs that have been used since the early days of the electric light. The bulb is either evacuated (has a vacuum) or filled with an inert gas to keep the filament from oxidizing.
