TowMate® started from its humble beginnings in the 80's. Bryan Anderson, the founder of the company, was working in the storage pool business and often ran his own truck. Never asking his employees to do something that he wouldn't do, a call came one bitter cold night and off Bryan went. As he was working on the job a thought came to him, someone should manufacture and sell wireless tow lights so that he would not need to spend so much time in the cold.
