Featured Products

The company traces its roots back to the time Henry Timken applied a tapered roller bearing design to heavy freight wagons that had a problem making sharp turns. Timken's invention could handle both cornering force and radial loads that provided several customer benefits such as improved wagon performance and smooth running. Thanks to better cornering there was less chance of losing a load of goods.

Realizing that tapered roller bearings could improve product performance, Henry Timken and his sons established The Timken Roller Bearing and Axle Company. Very soon bearings became an essential part in many applications. Today Timken has 93 sales offices, 64 plants, 25 shipping centers, and 12 technology and engineering centers in 28 countries. Every day approximately 19,000 employees serve a number of diverse market segments to provide customers with cutting-edge solutions and the best value for their money.

Timken is all about transforming its business and creating unparalleled value for every customer. With thousands of bearings, seals, lubrication products, motion control systems, power transmission components, alloy steel and steel parts, chains and augers, Timken helps its customers operate faster and more efficiently, improving performance, productivity, and uptime for an extensive range of applications.

After receiving my Timken hub assembly this week and swapping it out, I want to let everyone know that the following continues: great product; "Made in USA" stamped on the well-crafted part; perfect fit. I really appreciate the chance to buy high quality parts like Timken bearings at a fair price.

Remove old one before buying new one
2011 Chevy Aveo

The new bearing is very good, but I couldn't install it myself. Removing the old wheel bearing on my Suburban proved to be impossible. The bearing extends 2" into the knuckle, and gets frozen in by rust and grit. I could not remove the old one so I had to take my car to the dealer, who wanted to use their parts. Even the heaviest hammer and thinnest chisel could not budge the old one. I suggest you try to remove the old bearing before you decide to buy a new one.

Perfect
2007 Chevy Tahoe

I purchased two of these for my 2007 Chevy Tahoe 4x4. These are the real Timken deal and made in the USA. I always try to go with Timken when it comes to bearings and now that everything comes with these bearing assemblies, I'm glad i can still do that. These come with the ABS sensors and all the clip bushings were in the right spots. Make sure you get a 36mm socket to get the axle nut off though!

Anything worth doing is worth doing right... If you are looking for quality parts you are going to spend a little more money, the Timken hubs we got for our '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee are really good quality. Very solid, and they feel like they were packed well.... We are currently using this jeep as a daily driver, as well as off road, and it rides smooth with the new hubs. We will be buying Timken again !
