The Quattro cover is water resistant but not waterproof. A waterproof cover might not allow any rainwater or moisture from snow to penetrate the cover, but conversely any water trapped under the cover on the vehicle surface would not be able to escape or evaporate, which would result in corrosion and mildew. The Quattro’s 4-layer construction will shed most water, and what little moisture is able to soak through will quickly be able to evaporate because of the cover’s breathability. Breathability is especially important for a vehicle that might be stored in a damp area or parked in a region with high humidity, because it will prevent corrosion causing moisture buildup on the vehicle surface, and mold and mildew.
Although the Rixxu Quattro car cover is a universal cover that can be used on any vehicle and doesn’t have mirror pockets or provisions for an antenna, you can still achieve proper fitment.
