Consequently, the production area was also increased and in 1999 it expanded up to 12.000 square meters. In three years, a new R&D center was opened, which allowed to increase the range of concerts and develop advanced mechanical and acoustic features for sport exhaust systems. In 2006, a new manufacturing facility with over 5.000 square meters was build.

The heart of this R&D center is a ground-breaking acoustic sound chamber with a 4WD dynamo meter, which can simulate various parameters for motorcycles and cars. Thus, REMUS simulates real-world conditions on its heated pass-by test track for measuring the noise reflected from accelerating road-legal automobiles.
