Pop & Lock Tailgate Locks
Pop & Lock is currently headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In November 2011, the company was acquired by VSI, LLC and it really was the start of a new chapter in the company's development. Pop & Lock remains a proven leader that specializes in manufacturing manual and power tailgate locks. Except that, the company continues to expand its business by providing special applications for emerging truck models that accommodate tailgates.
Pop & Lock tailgate locks will keep the valuable stuff in your truck bed from ever being stolen. Also, if you have a lockable tonneau cover or a truck cap, these locks are definitely a must have. If you're going to get a lock for your tonneau cover or truck cap, you won't need to remove or readjust anything to mount the lock. For the maximum convenience, the lock is activated by your keyless remote: the tailgate will lock automatically with your doors!
All Pop & Lock products are manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel that is virtually indestructible. The locks are available in both manual and power-operated versions. In addition to the latter type, they offer the Pop & Lock switch kit that is required in case your truck isn't equipped with a power lock system. Each single kit includes all mounting hardware necessary for installation.

I bought this lock about 2 years ago and it is still working get. The install took so time because of the wiring but it works great with my factory push button locking system. I would recommend it!

Very easy to install using the included instructions or search for a YouTube video. The only complaints I have are that the handle is a little less sturdy feeling than the OEM handle and there wasn't complete coverage of the tailgate handle hole. I used some silicone sealant on the inside to make it watertight. I do wish there would have been a model available without the backup camera cutout since there isn't one one my model and a larger handle more like the original would have been nice.

I installed my Pop and Lock with no problems at all. The quality of the product is excellent and it works great with my remote keyless for my truck. I would suggest this product to anyone looking for a keyless tailgate lock.

I purchased and installed a DynoLock tailgate lock about a year ago. Recently the DynoLock died, and I discovered Pop and Lock and thought I'd give it a try. The P&L is a much better design and construction than the DynoLock. At first, the P&L wouldn't lock completely, but a drop of lube on the friction points, and now it's working like a charm.

Overall pleased with the product. I was glad I shopped around and found the best price at CARiD. I am handy and a pretty decent do-it-yourselfer but it just takes me a little longer. I figured it out but it made you work at it a little. Also, I was doing this on a Saturday evening, and there isn't any tech assistance over the weekend if you are doing-it-yourself.

Thanks. This item installed easily and is a great value compared to the Chevy's tumbler replacement (which, by the way, cost more)! Thanks for giving us the effective replacement that works so well.

After having the tailgate stolen and $400 to replace, I added this guy for an instant fix, and it looks very nice and is easy to replace. Thanks!

Overall the Pop and Lock does what it says it will do. It seems to work with authority and while it may be a little loud it doesn't sound flimsy. I wired mine to the passenger side so keep the cycle count down, as others have suggested. I routed it through the A/C drain tube hole. When you close your tailgate you will hear a vibrating sound like flicking a spring door stop. Could probably use 2 sided tape and some foam between the locking mechanism and the tailgate wall to prevent this. Very satisfied so far and very impressed with CARiD customer service and shipping speed.

Easy installation with a little knowledge of tools, hardest part was removing washers from Honda screws. It would be easier if new screws were included.
