When Ultra Wheels was first established by a truck racing enthusiast Jim Smith, it was formed as an extension of his passion for racing. As such, the wheels that the brand manufactured catered towards the needs of that market and focused on providing high quality, durable, and lightweight aftermarket fitments that would really allow drivers to push their trucks to the limits. Eventually however, Ultra Wheels decided to branch out into other niche markets, and so it founded several new brands such as Focal and Platinum®.
