I have had these tires for about a month and am very pleased with their performance on both dry and wet roads. No hydroplaning even in heavy rain! Hope they are as long-lasting as people say.

I bought a lifted F-150 and loved its aggressive look with 35s. However, I didn’t like its pretty rough ride. Believe it or not, but I installed these tires on my truck and got a much smoother and quieter ride! They provide plenty of good grip on dry, wet, and snow-covered roads. I have about 20K miles on them already and their tread still looks great. Think I’ll get twice more miles out of them. Now I know why they are so popular!

A Nice Upgrade from My Stock Tires!
MICHELIN TIRES® - DEFENDER LTX M/S
I have a 2021 Grand Cherokee Summit 4x4 (WK2 body-style) that came with Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires which lasted me roughly 11,500 miles before they started to get edge wear and wore down to ~ 35% tread, which is disappointing. I didn't have many name-brand tires for my tire size, which weren't all-terrain. After reading the reviews on a few options, including this one from Goodyear, I decided on these ones. They definitely were NOT inexpensive tires, but everyone that I talked to that had these particular tires really seemed to like them, myself included. The only thing I wish that these had which others from this brand have, is one side with white lettering on the tires which I think looks pretty nice. These, unfortunately, do not (as I think some older ones of these did) but all personal preference on that part. To their credit, CARID shipped them on a Monday, and I received them the next day with free shipping. I hope these last a long time with how much was spent, but I am glad to have brand new tires that are much better quality than the stock ones that my Jeep came with. Pros: Nice quality tires Minimal road noise Soft, comfortable ride Excellent (70,000 miles) tread warranty Beefier than the tires I previously had They are nice-looking tires Cons: These were a good bit more expensive than some of the other options I had, but I've learned that you do NOT skimp on tires, brakes, etc. No white wall letting as I was expecting (no biggie, really)

Question:
Are Michelin Defender LTX MS tires good in snow?
Posted by Customer / January 19, 20232021 BMW X5
CARiD Answer:
These are M and S tires, so you can expect good traction on both groomed snow and mud. Although they are neither snow-dedicated tires nor branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol, they perform pretty well in packed and unpacked snow and even on ice. But surely, they cannot provide the same performance as the models designed especially for harsh winter conditions can.

These are quiet enough to drive on highways and city streets. Most drivers who have purchased and used them have only good things to say about their quietness.

Question:
