Lisle Tools

The INNOVATOR in Specialty Tools since 1903

The Lisle Corporation was founded in 1903 in Clarinda, Iowa, as a privately owned company. Today it is led by third, fourth and fifth generation family members. Lisle started out making horse-powered water well drilling machines. To combat the seasonality of the well drilling business, the company branched out and began to develop, design, and manufacture cream separators, washing machines, and push-type reel lawn mowers.

Featured Products

In the mid-20s, the corporation entered the automotive aftermarket with its master ignition vibrator for Ford Model T vehicles. The first Lisle tool was a valve refacer that fast became a repair shop must since valves were reground every 20,000 miles at that time. Thanks to its extremely durable products, the Lisle Corporation grew into a renowned manufacturer of specialty automotive tools, mechanic's creepers and lubrication and tire products.

Today, the company keeps branching out with constant innovation of new products. Lisle mechanic's creepers, specialty automotive tools, lubrication and tire products, etc. are the preferred line among the most respected automotive warehouse distributors because Lisle manufactures quality products at the most affordable prices. The specialty automotive tool line by the Lisle corporation now consists of more than 400 products that make any repair job easier and quicker.

I bought this kit specifically for an AC line disconnect on a 2000 Ford Explorer - the white ring of the kit tools - it worked perfectly. Now I have the whole rest of the kit in case I ever need it on any of the other vehicles. Good price - good quality.

Wow

I had previously changed the plugs on my 2006 Ford Mustang GT without breaking a single plug (roughly 50 000 when I changed them), so I figured I could do my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT without breaking one as well. Now the Lincoln has 142K on the original plugs, but I went forward thinking I could change them without breaking any like on my Mustang. First three came out without issue, but it digressed from there. I ended up breaking 4 of the 8. So it is Thursday night and I need my truck by Friday night.

Great tool

I purchased this tool to repair my Van. I had researched the repair and found that it would require the 29MM crow's foot which is not part of this tool kit. The tool is of excellent quality and a must for inner tie rod repair. I would suggest the additional purchase of both the 29MM and the 32.5MM crow's feet.

I purchased this spreader and was happy as it worked fine. Then I discovered that there is a speedy spreader you can use with one hand. Oh well, this works fine for the price and is more compact. If you're not in the repair business, this will work fine for you too.

2003 Ford Taurus

I bought this to do the tie rods on my 2003 Ford Taurus. This made my life so much easier, just put on the backing, slide on the tool, and a quick bump from an impact wrench or a breaker bar is well worth not removing the rack. Don't use the impact wrench to install the new one, just use your torque wrench. It's like hitting the easy button...
