Euro tail lights, known as Altezza or clear tail lights, are sought after replacements for the factory installed tail lights, which usually have plain, boring red plastic lenses. In contrast, Euro tail lights present an interesting chrome or black substrate with smaller red, clear or yellow individual lenses or bulbs under a clear or smoked outer lens.

"Once installed, wow, these look great!!! However, there were no instructions that came with these lights. You have to remove your existing OEM harness when installing these lights. And... the key point here... you cannot use your OEM turn signal bulb. The lights I received use bulb 1162, not the OEM 770 my car comes with. It's quite evident when you see these lights as the socket is round and has a spring and two grooves on the side. You can tell that you been a bulb with a round end and the two tabs on each side to screw into the grooves. They are very easy to install, but it would have been nice to get something in the box besides the lights themselves."

"Light come with the right size and harness adapter including the resistor which is a small metal plate that you have to screw down on the body to prevent rattling. Overall, they work well and the fit is acceptable, not exactly like OEM, but close enough. Installation instructions could be better but they do include pictures and it's pretty straight forward."

"Lights were priced well and appeared to be overall good quality with the exception of some dim LEDs. Installation was done professionally, but installer said it was tricky finding a good place to locate load resistors on this car."

"The lights arrived on time, and were easy to install, even with the extra steps of adding the resistor plates under the trunk lid, it was an unexpected task, but trivial. More importantly, what a difference! I purchased these along with the matching taillights and a pair of projector lamps for the front and it made the car look 10 years younger (I have a '98 GS300). What an amazing transformation!"
