Warranty

What is covered - K-Metal products are protected by a 1-year warranty on replacement headlights, side mirrors, plastic and steel bumper covers, fenders, hoods, grilles and other automotive and truck replacement parts. K-Metal warrants its parts to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed. The warranty includes perforation (metal rust-through) due to corrosion in normal use.

What is not covered - Because this warranty extends to defects in materials and workmanship, it does not apply to normal worn parts, damage resulting from road hazards, debris, gravel, adjustments or damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, lack of maintenance, abnormal operation, accident, conditions that cause failure to the vehicle’s warning devices, removal or alteration of the parts. Warranty does not include costs associated with part removal, installation, inconvenience or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to fleet or commercial vehicles.

All incidental or consequential damages are excluded from this warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More

Great Product, But With One Trouble

K-Metal® 6313634 - Driver Side Power View Mirror (Non-Heated, Foldaway)

The replacement was an exact fit, but the mirror isn't as flexible as the original mirror. The original side mirror has a greater range to move around if needed and the aftermarket does not.

Great Product, Quality Construction

The mirror was easy to install and constructed very well, if you find one cheaper the glass will flutter, you wont find a better replacement mirror. Very happy with this product.

Great After Market Parts

K-Metal® 7118631 - Passenger Side Power View Mirror (Non-Heated, Foldaway)

I have a 2013 Toyota Camry Le. We had to purchase a new right side mirror because the cap flew off while driving. All the wires were exposed which needed to be replaced asap. CARiD had this brand really inexpensive. We got the part in a few days. It was easy to install looks exactly like the OEM part. Could not be happier that i save so much money.
