The Jeep Comanche was a response to the growing demand for pickup trucks in the mid-1980s. A pickup variant of the famous Cherokee compact SUV, the Comanche model was introduced in 1985. This innovative vehicle was equipped with a strong engine and four-wheel drive as an option. The range of available engines varied from 2.1L to 4.0L in displacement. The selection of transmissions included a three-speed automatic, four-speed automatic and manual, and five-speed manual. Powerful enough to develop a speed of 144 mph, the Jeep Comanche set an international speed record at Bonneville in 1986.
The proper condition of rocker panels is important for your Comanche’s structural integrity and good looks. Being the lowest body panels, they are often impacted by stones, gravel and other road debris. Furthermore, they are exposed to water, dirt, snow, and road salt, all causing rust and corrosion. If your vehicle’s rocker panels are damaged, you can easily get a quality replacement in our store. We carry a huge assortment of Jeep Comanche rocker panels by such outstanding brands as Goodmark, Eastwood, and Sherman to restore the flawless appearance of your vehicle.
