Life is a game of chance and sometimes you just need to be in the right place at the right time. This is what exactly happened to Ken Callison, a guy who is the owner of ididit, the company which makes products for some of the finest specialty cars and street rods in the world today. Everything has started with a fellow member of Ypsilanti Area Street Rods who asked Ken to machine a billet aluminum steering column which became the first of many thousands of ididit columns. As a result, in 1986, a fast-growing company was organized.

Universal series steering columns are thoroughly engineered to add style and performance to your auto. It can be easily installed in a hot rod, kit car, street rod, etc. The company offers two types of steering columns, Straight and Tilt versions which vary in length and look. The Straight column has a stylish, sleek head and a slim tube diameter. Although it is similar to the OEM column, it's much smoother in design. The head of the Straight column is shorter in length when compared to the Tilt version, but this does not compromise its functionality. As for the Universal Tilt column, it was the first on the automotive market to have a removable and indexable lower shift arm.
