Also described as “A-arms”, control arms are lateral suspension locating links in the shape of the letter A that allow a wheel to move up and down while the vehicle body frame and passengers ride smooth and level. The two legs attach to the vehicle chassis with pivots and flexible bushings, while the other end attaches to the wheel assembly.
