It does leave more of a gap between the bottom of the seat and top of the storage box than I hoped, gap is between 3-4 inches. The box installs easily and leaves a clean appearance, however, at the expense of access to the jack. The box covers the jack, so if you ever need to use the jack, the whole box (and everything in it) have to come out of the truck. I am not sure how to get around this, but I would have preferred a better approach. Finally, I had to trim my aftermarket camo floormats, so they did not sit under the box, not a big deal. It's a box, hard to get to excited or mad at it ! Gets the job done.
