Black HP Manifold Shield (300401) by Heatshield®. Color: Black. Header Coating: Painted. Heatshield Products Manifold Shield is designed to keep heat inside your exhaust and turbo manifold. Made from rugged, high-temperature materials, this exhaust manifold heat shield is designed to sustain continuous temperatures of 1,800 degrees F. Retaining heat in the exhaust system with the manifold insulation decreases gas density, allowing the exhaust gases to exit the turbo manifold, turbo and downpipe faster through increased gas velocities. This can increase the boost of a turbo, reduce turbo lag, eliminate chatter and improve the overall efficiency of a turbo system. Use the manifold shield in conjunction with one of the turbo heatshields and downpipe heatshields to reduce underhood temperatures up to 50 percent and increase performance. The Manifold Shield installs in minutes and uses anchor hooks with safety wire.

Capable of withstanding 1,800-degrees Fahrenheit continuous and 2,200-degress Fahrenheit intermittent. The Armor series exhaust insulation can reduce as much as 70 percent of heat radiating up from the exhaust system.
