Flowtech Performance Exhaust

Flowtech

In 1994 Gary Biggs established Flowtech Performance Exhaust with the purpose of delivering top-quality performance exhaust systems at a great value. This mission was a success since in less than 20 years the company became a leader in the cost effective exhaust systems for on- and off-road vehicles. Today Flowtech offers a great line of products, from full-length headers for the 1969 Camaro to turbo–back exhaust systems for a late model diesel truck.

The brand's assortment includes remarkable product series, namely Flowtech Terminator™, Warlock™, Raptor™, etc. The company breathed new life into some names of the past like Purple Hornies™. The company offers several header lines. The shorty smog headers provide great operation while retaining stock emissions equipment for a vehicle that pollutes less. Standard full-length headers feature a painted or show ceramic finish for long service life.

The company is famous for simple and at the same time efficient enhancements, for instance, slotted port flanges that ensure additional wiggle room for easier header installation. More space for the header bolts is provided by dimpling of the tubes at the port. To guarantee a tight seal, Flowtech parallels ground the header flanges. The company invented unique Flowtech Afterburner headers which separated the odd firing cylinders with a velocity tube to enhance scavenging, as well as the Warlock bypass mufflers that were received the SEMA best product award for their radically open or closed design in 1996.

After becoming a part of Holley Performance Products in 1999, Flowtech remained true to its roots focusing on late model truck and cars. The company offers superior Flowtech exhaust systems and Flowtech headers that boost performance with quality built in. They are available for Camaros, Mustangs, and all types of full size trucks. The company added X-pipe kits with integrated cut-outs and universal X-pipe kits to its product line. It also provides premium Flowtech mufflers and Flowtech pumps. For instance, Flowtech Afterburner mufflers feature a fully-welded construction for great performance even under extreme conditions and an aluminized case for corrosion resistance. Constant advancements to manufacturing processes will keep Flowtech the leader in value priced exhaust systems.

It sounds extremely good, put it on my 1993 Dakota 5.2L v8 about a year ago and still sounds like brand new. Gave the truck alot more milage with it being a straight thru design definitely worth the money.
