Elwis Gaskets

Elwis' gasket business was founded in Denmark in the 1930s. In the early days the company focused on providing flat gaskets for the local industrial business segment. In the mid-1960s, Dana Corporation acquired 50% ownership of the company and this led to an increased focus on the automotive business segments. Since the mid-1980s, Elwis has been a 100% family-owned company. Today, Elwis is fully owned by Mr. Ole Lottrup and Mr. Peter Lottrup (CEO). In recent years, the company was focused on expanding the product lines as Elwis is committed to the ongoing research and development and and strengthening of its core product lines.

Elwis Automotive Aftermarket offers more than 3,500 different products covering 9,000 different OE apllications. It concentrates on providing sealing solutions for European and Asian passenger cars. Elwis OEM Solutions manufactures gasket and sealing solutions mainly for original equipment manufacturers all across Europe. And, Elwis Lighting designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of durable high-end lighting products for the automotive, industrial, maritime and outdoor industry.
