Introduced in 1975, the Chevrolet Monza was a subcompact car based on the Vega model and specifically designed to carry the GM-Wankel rotary engine. The project was dropped due to high fuel consumption precisely when the oil crisis hit the world, thus the model was given a more traditional and modest 2.3 liter I4 engine. The Chevrolet Monza debuted as a 2+2 hatchback, featuring a sporty body shape and the styling that indisputably resembled the 1970s. Soon the model was made available as a 2+2 coupe and, starting in 1977, as a 2-door station wagon. The engine offer was also widened, including an optional performance package featuring a 5.7 liter V8 which produced 125 HP. In 1980, the Chevrolet Monza was discontinued.

The Chevrolet Monza was designed for the daily go in the town traffic, being therefore subjected to all those frustrating minor or major road accidents, that might result into a crack in the windshield, a broken mirror, or a scratch on the side. Nothing irreparable of course, and you can rely on our store to obtain the right replacement parts for your auto.
