XR-1™ Stainless Steel Over Axle Mid-Pipes by Borla®. Main Piping Diameter: 2.75". These over axle pipes are recommended to be used with the Borla Rear Section and "X" Pipe to complete a cat-back system. Replaces stock catalytic converter; for off-road use only. Long-lasting 304 austenitic stainless steel. Mandrel-bent large-diameter pipe for low restriction, maximum flow and power.

Not legal for road use, these downpipes are intended to replace the stock catalytic converter on these diesel trucks when used off of public roads. Save weight and reduce backpressure by installing one of these pipes. If you've ever had a catalytic converter plug caused by a poorly-running engine or a contaminated tank of diesel fuel, you'll know it can be a long walk back to civilization to call a tow truck. Get piece of mind and eliminate the cat when the law allows you to do so.

Mandrel-bent on CNC-controlled benders, they are guaranteed to the original user on the original vehicle for one million miles of service. High-quality 304 austenitic stainless steel is used throughout, so your Borla exhaust system will never corrode or rust. Other manufacturers, including the car manufacturers fabricate so-called stainless exhaust systems out of less-expensive 400-series steel. Although 400-series steel is superior to ordinary aluminized mild steel, it can still develop ugly surface corrosion and eventually deteriorate. Professional installation is recommended, because of the necessity of working underneath the vehicle.
