Fits My Tire Great

Boomerang® MB-FJ32 - 32" MasterSeries™ Unpainted black ABS Faceplate Spare Tire Cover with Black Powder Coated SS Ring

I sized up the tires for my 2003 Ranger and they happen to be the same size as the FJ & H3. The matching spare is 10" taller than the original. After some measurements there's no way it can fit the designated spot under the truck. Soon my truck will be in a local offroad shop having a tire gate made. I will be using matching locking lugs to secure the spare on the tire gate. Having the cover adds more theft protection and weather protection. Along with my plate winch bumper/brush guard, plate rear bumper, roof basket and now adding a tire gate with matching black tire cover. This will look amazing with the cover when the tire gate is finished in April. I bought the Master Series for 2 reasons, it locks and durability. There's also the covers made with the plastic face and vinyl stretch cover. Those stretchy vinyl covers can crack and wear out after 3 to 5 years in the weather and the weather protection for the tire is gone. I couldn't see paying $90+ for a cover that is doomed from the beginning to wear out. I decided to spend a little more for the durability and security of a better cover. The latch that secures the ring is also easily adjustable. The stock tires on an FJ and H3 are 275/75/16. When I found my tires are an exact match I was so happy that my search was over and I could get a cover that would be worth buying and last many years of 4wheeling and weather abuse. Wish I could upload a couple pictures. But I guess that's not an option here. Maybe I could do that in review on amazon.
