BG ROD WORKS WHEELS AND RIMS
BG Rod Works comes under the umbrella of Voxx Wheels and was established in 2009. Back in 1996, when Voxx first opened its doors in Southern California, it was in response to the demand for high quality products at affordable prices. Although unique in its own right, BG Rod Works has benefited from the structure and principles that it inherited from Voxx. Seeing as the core principles of quality and competitive pricing served Voxx so well over the years, it made sense for BG Rod Works to set itself up in a similar manner.

After the dawn of the new millennium, Voxx was a driving force in the aftermarket wheel industry and had represented the entire industry as a whole in numerous national conferences held in Washington D.C. The company's President had also worked with the SEMA Wheel and Tire Council on various industry-related changes, and had been involved during the writing of the original J2530 testing specifications.
Aside from its industry-related expansion, Voxx also recognized it needed to expand into up and coming segments of the industry if it wanted to remain relevant. That is what motivated the company to begin to create new brands that would facilitate their entry into previously untapped market segments. Initially, G-FX Wheels was created to cater to aftermarket wheels for trucks and SUVs, and shortly after that BG Rod Works was also unveiled as Voxx's subsidiary for hot rod and modern muscle car applications.
Seeing as the founder as well as the team working behind the scenes at BG Rod Works have been hot rod enthusiasts for years themselves, their connection to the market was definitely an asset. Today the brand has carved a niche out for itself in the aftermarket wheel industry. Despite having a long way to go before it is anywhere near the giant that Voxx is, BG Rod Works has earned its spot at the table and is still taking considerable strides forward in its growth and expansion. Assuming everything continues to go according to the plan, the brand could even find itself an industry leader someday too.
I got a set for my 71 R/T Challenger and am very happy with the look and fit. Got mine (box said Voxx Old School but the center caps have B/G on them) from CARiD.
For the money, the wheels are fine. I have run them for just over 1 month. My first set were Coys and the second set were B/G Rod Works, and they match perfectly.
They look good. Exactly what I was looking for. I installed a new set of 20x9 offset +13 Gasser wheels on my new Charger. I think it turned out great!
