Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Lines

The flared end that goes into quick connect fitting in trans wasn’t made very well, that was causing the wire retainer clip not to grab well or hold in place well, I ended up using my clip but also using a piece of mechanics wire to help hold the line in, that same end needed a little cleaning up, burrs and such would likely tear the o ring seal in connector. I’m sure that these lines aren’t all like that, in fact I got two lines and one was just fine, also I’m sure the company would’ve sent me a new line but time was an issue and I didn’t even try, the lines were both wrong also they appeared to be made for a v6 truck instead of v8 truck, they still worked just fine. It just makes it impossible to use the factory line holder on oil pan / timing cover corner, again I didn’t try to re order and the mix up may have been on my end while ordering, time was an issue so I just used them and overall a good buy for the money, they’re 1/2 the price I could get elsewhere!!!! I would recommend them, just pay attention when ordering to get the right ones and look carefully at the flared ends in case they need attention before installation!!!
