Ansa Exhaust Technologies warrants to the original retail purchaser that each Ansa and Silverline product purchased from an authorized Ansa dealer shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period(s) listed below, when used on private passenger cars and light trucks for personal use under normal operating conditions. The warranty commences on the date of the original purchase and is effective for the duration listed below, or for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle, whichever comes first.

What is Covered by this Warranty?

This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship in the Ansa and Silverline products. Ansa's sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to the exchange or replacement of a defective Ansa or Silverline product in accordance with this limited warranty.

What is NOT Covered by this Warranty?

This warranty does not apply to products that have been a) altered, modified, reworked, improperly applied or installed, b) installed on vehicles used for commercial, racing or off-road purposes and/or c) damaged due to vehicle modifications or accident.

The cost of removal or installation of a replacement product is not included in this warranty coverage. The cost of shipping for a replacement product is not covered.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

I Got a New Muffler

Ansa® TY34817 - Rear Exhaust Muffler

After a significant increase in shipping time, the reason stated was on the manufacturer. Looking at the website it says you can get it tomorrow. Hmmm. So I received a bare muffler laying on the front porch with bubble wrap around the muffler component. Looks good, one hanger leg is bent inward. Put the muffler on the truck took the bubble wrap off. Oh, this is a Bosal muffler. Not worth the trouble returning. it works. Later I receive an email stating if I want my muffler I will need to pay an additional one hundred dollars or cancel. What!? So I responded I do not want any more fees please cancel. A few days later I get an email stating item received. So... Heads Up! Summary, I received the wrong muffler after being told the delay was on the manufacturer. Then once received I need to pay more to get my original order. The Bosal muffler works fine. Make sure the hanger legs are in the same position as your old muffler. Hope this helps.
