Power Steering Pump and Alternator Bracket (601L) by Alan Grove®. Side: Driver. Alternator/Power Steering Belt Length: 58-1/2" - 59-1/2" / 41-1/2" - 42". Steel, Natural Finish. Alan Grove Components use a belt length of 58-1/2"- 59-1/2" for the alternator mount and a 41-1/2"- 42" belt for the power steering mount in shop. However, this can vary with the diameter of your pulleys. Notes
- On some early engines, the accessory holes in the heads are larger - 7/16" holes. If this is the case a 3/8-16" heli-coil must be installed. They are available at most auto parts and hardware stores
- Brackets bolt to top water pump bolt, two points on the outer cylinder head and two bottom holes of drivers side engine block
- As with any mount system, assemble all of the brackets to engine Before tightening the bolts. As with any part of this nature, make sure it fits your application before painting or plating. Parts that have been painted, plated, or modified may not be returned
