The 2021 Subaru Forester is quite a versatile compact crossover SUV combining average off-road capabilities and good ride quality on the pavement. Of course, it's not meant for extreme off-roading like the Wrangler and alike, but it's more suitable for journeys with a family in more or less favorable conditions. A sway bar is one of the parts contributing to good handling on the road, and although many serious off-road enthusiasts prefer to remove it from their rock-crawling vehicles, as for the Forester, the sway bar brings more benefits than disadvantages.
Meanwhile, this component has to be in good condition. The bar works under high loads, and while it's trying to reduce body roll, these loads are exerted on flexible bushings mounted in places where the part is attached to the chassis. Most bushings are made of rubber, and gradually, they get deformed, which leads to play and unpleasant knocks you might hear from under the vehicle. Similar symptoms may appear when the bar's end links go bad. Our online store carries an assortment of 2021 Subaru Forester sway bars & components allowing you to keep your sway bar in good working condition.
