2020 Toyota Prius Car Covers

I wanted to return my cover to CARiD.com, because after opening and inspecting the product I determined that it is too thin to provide much protection from the sun. The description said it is 3 layers thick so I was expecting something a little bulkier. I could not determine how it was three layers thick upon inspection; looked like maybe 2 very thin layers. They said you can only return it if you have not opened the packaging. It was vacuum packed and it would be impossible to inspect the product without opening it. The cover would work fine if you just want to keep dirt off of the car.
