2012 Mercedes GL Class Aluminum Dash Kits

The kit looks fairly convincingly like real wood. However, the real medium burl does not exactly match the factory medium burlwood. The factory wood is just a shade darker. The difference though is subtle, and will only be noticed in broad daylight if the pieces are juxtaposed. I bought this kit primarily to enhance the second row center console. The kit looks very good for this purpose. Mercedes should have done this from the factory! The kit "as is" does leave some of the underlying plastic exposed along the borders, but I was able to fabricate my own pieces from unused portions of the kit to cover these areas. Overall I am very happy with the outcome.
