2004 Subaru Legacy Steering Wheels

Before I started, I watched the installation video on you tube about five or six times. I noticed that the instructor said it would take 60 minutes to install. Watched the lady in the video closely to make sure that I learned how to do it right. I also read the installation instructions various times to reduce the possibility of errors. Finally I decided to try installing the skin. After ten or eleven attempts at stitching and undoing and over one hour later, shirt full of sweat, myself completely frustrated and out of patience and still without having made any progress, I called it quits. I undid the few stitches I had achieved (three, maybe four), rolled the cord and needle, put skin, cord and instructions in the box, where they still are six days later. Have not decided whether to chop the skin up in many pieces and throw it in the garbage or throw it away in one piece, with the cord. Unfortunately I paid sixty some good US dollars for it but that is my loss and my learning curve. Obviously there is no way I can recommend this product; on the contrary I would strongly suggest any possible buyer to think it over thoroughly before ordering. After all, there are many other very good uses for sixty some US dollars aside from this contraption. I was considering ordering a steering wheel for the car. That is a lot more money than the Wheelskin. After this experience, my confidence in these products is at the bottom of the pole so I guess I will not order any time soon.
