Keep in mind that the Catalytic Converter contributes greatly to the noise level of the vehicle, The inside of mine had turned to dust - so you will want to check that, and don't scrimp on price replacing it. If the converter needs replacing purchase a "quality" part or you'll defeat your mufflers' ability to function at peak level of deadening sound. Lastly; remember, your (downpipe) O2 sensor is connected to the catalytic converter - if they haven't been replaced in ten years you may want to consider doing that while it's on the rack... just sayin.
