1980 Buick Electra Wipers & Washers

Purchased your Cardone remanufactured front windshield washer pump 40-901 through Amazon June 14, 2020. Upon receipt I inspected the unit only to find out that it had the wrong plastic cam that drives the washer pump installed. I would have to have made the wiper motor run backwards to make the pump work. Luckily I saved the old pump and was able to remove the cam from it and replace the one on the new pump with it. For the price I paid for this unit I would have expected it to have been quality inspected before shipping. It makes me wonder about the quality of your products. It also caused me to lose time on the installation and cost me extra money because I had to purchase a star washer to retain the cam gear. Unit now works fine, but I shouldn't have had to repair a new item that was supposed to have been tested and approved. Daniel Brinker, d_brinker@aol.com
