It may be possible, but there are a number of factors that must be considered including rail length, the location of the stake pockets relative to the hole pattern in your rail and the height of your cab relative to the top of the bed. You may need to purchase new bed rails and/or a new sliding rack. You will also, most likely need to purchase replacement expansion blocks as these often become damaged during removal. The best place to start is Customer Forum. There you will find a section dedicated to transferring between trucks and an overview of how to get started. If you run into any problems, customer support team can help to guide you through the process. TracRac cannot guarantee 100% that your racks will slide smoothly or that any accessory you have will install properly. Modification to any TracRac racks/parts/accessories will void the Warranty.
The Base Rails mount into the stake pockets of your truck via special rubber expansion blocks and hardware and the overhead racks slide onto tracks of base rails.
Every rack TracRac sell comes complete with everything you will need to get you going. All of the Racks* are sold as front and rear rack and come with all of the necessary mounting hardware. Additionally, all of the Racks* come with a set of tiedowns. Each system has its own particular configuration, features and benefits, but they all will get the job done right out of the box. TracRac does not sell rack systems directly, but rather through network of local and internet based retailers.
Most of rack systems take between 45-90 mins to install. Each of the product pages will have a pdf of the instruction sheet and some have a video to assist you. However, TracRac highly recommend using one authorized installers. They have had years of experience and can quickly ensure that your rack will be installed to highest standards and ensure that your truck is not damaged during installation or usage.
Rack systems are pretty tough and built to take normal wear and tear. Should you accidentally damage your rack (say by forgetting that your rack doesn't quite fit in your garage), sell many replacement components that can help you get your rack back to work in most cases without having to buy a whole new rack system.
