ZKW® is a well-recognized manufacturer of premium lighting systems, electrics and electronic modules for motor vehicles. The company was founded in Vienna in 1938 by Karl Zizala and was expanded in 1954 after the opening of the headlamp factory in Wieselburg, Austria. Today, ZKW owns professional development centers and high-performance production locations, where innovative miniature lasers, organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), micro electromechanical systems (MEMS) and special LED configurations are engineered. This results in premium lighting products that provide ultimate reliability and strength.

Warranty

ZKW warrants that the delivered goods comply with the specifications, are of standard market quality and are otherwise free from defects. If and to the extent ZKW is responsible for the design, ZKW shall also warrant the correct design and suitability of the delivered goods for the specific purposes for which they were purchased.

If the goods are defective, ZKW shall examine the goods to identify the defects.

The warranty period shall be thirty-six (36) months from the date the vehicle was first registered.

For parts marketed on the North American market (U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico) the above mentioned warranty period shall be extended by twenty-four (24) months from the date the vehicle was first registered, irrespective of the type of the parts and their installation.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More
