  • Over 20 years of experience in manufacturing high-quality automotive parts has given TYC the know-how to extend their service to the Original Equipment (OE) market.

  • They have the right strengths to make them a suitable OE supplier:

  • Design & Engineering – With years of experience in engineering design, the TYC engineers employ the latest software and equipment, working closely with the OE customers to design and manufacture products that meet customers unique specifications. TYC are also well-versed in SAE/DOT regulations that govern some specific product lines like lamps and mirrors, ensuring that safety-compliant products are distributed to the market.
  • Production & Quality Control – All of the manufacturing facilities are TS-16949/ISO 9001:2008 certified, with annual audits performed to maintain certification. This is their commitment to the quality process which translates into the highest quality of the products leaving TYC production lines. Through the use of modern robotics and automated process controls, they are able to achieve high production efficiency with low defect rates.
  • Delivery – Having 5 distribution centers strategically located across the US, TYC is able to house inventory and deliver quickly to the customers facility, enhancing Just-In-Time production efficiency.
  • Warranty Assurance – with personnel in 5 distribution locations as well as Headquarter personnel located in Brea, California, TYC is able to respond quickly and efficiently to any warranty concerns from the customer. There is no waiting for a response via email from half a world away. They are here in the US, ready to answer questions and address any issues, all within 24 hours.

2016


  • Became Tier-1 supplier to Harley Davidson.

2014


  • Genera sales broke $200MM USD Milestone despite the economic impact from an over 40% drop in new vehicle production/sales since the 2007 recession and its lagged impact.
  • TYC became the first aftermarket lighting company and brand to distribute primarily certified lamps.

2013


  • Fuel Pumps launched.
  • Deployed OP WHAM; Warehouse Allocation Management System, streamlining sales order management with warehouse operations to increase efficiency in picking cycle-time, accuracy and priority for valued distribution partners.

2012


  • Heater Cores launched.
  • Consolidated and structured in-house Call Center to assist with customer care. Expanded Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to streamline order management and cycle time for distributors. Deployed e-catalogue and AAIA format files.

2011


  • Received the 2011 Taipei AMPA Innovation Award for LED head lamp with DRL in April.
  • Evaporators launched.
  • Launched i-Store, enabling distributors 24/7 access to check inventory, applications, prices, and to place orders.

2010


  • Received the 2010 Taiwan Excellence Award for LED head lamp with DRL and high performance bay luminaire.
  • OHSAS 18001: 2007 and TOSHMS certified in December.
  • Relocated GENERA CORPORATION Headquarter office from La Palma to Brea, California.
  • Terminate TLA agreement with Minda Industries Ltd.

2009


  • Launched High Performance HID Street Lights & Indoor lighting equipment in domestic markets in January.
  • Invested in SHANGHAI TUNG CHI HI-TECH COMPANY, expanding production and sales of HID street lights in China.
  • Increased share investment to 100% in CHANG CHUN E-CHI SHI HUAN and changed company name to CHANG CHUN SPARX LIGHTING COMPANY LTD.
  • Increased share investment to 76% in ELITECH TECHNOLOGY COMPANY, LTD.

2008


  • Started participation in USA LKQ/KEYSTONE AQRP system in May and launched AQRP certified lamps in December.
  • Established new business division for High Performance Luminaire (Street Lights & Indoor Lighting Devices).

2007


  • Increased Capital of CHANG CHUN E-CHI SHI HUAN in China.
  • Signed Technical Assistance Agreement with TAFACO, Vietnam.

2006


  • Became 100% sole shareholder of TYC Spain SL.
  • Reached Sales turnover of US$21 million in December.
  • Acquired 50% shareholding of IC.

2005


  • Received certification in compliance with Ford Q1 quality certification.
  • Received TOP 20 Taiwan Brand Award.
  • Participated in USA CAPA insurance certification system in July and launched
  • CAPA certified lamps in September.
  • 50% shareholding of CHANGZHOU TAMAU AUTO LAMPS sold to Visteon Corporation, USA;
  • renamed VISTEON TYC AUTO LAMPS COMPANY, LTD.

2004


  • TYC and IC Auto Comp. established joint venture company called TYC SPAIN SL, Barcelona sales & distribution warehouse in Spain.
  • Established a lighting equipment assembly plant called TYC BALTIC UAB in Lithuania.
  • Entered into a JV cooperation partnership with FIRST AUTO WORKS and formed CHANG CHUN E-CHI SHI HUAN in China.

2001


  • Established T.I.T. INTERNATIONAL CO., automotive lighting equipment manufacturing plant in Rayong, Thailand in March.
  • Established CHANGZHOU DA MAO PRECISION TOOLING, a tooling development and manufacturer in China.

  • Moved New Jersey sales & distribution warehouse operation to Illinois in December.
  • Acquired TAIWAN STANLEY INDUSTRIAL CO., and renamed SPARX INDUSTRIAL CO.
