HI, when stowed, this ladder fits against the inside of the tailgate, and the manufacturer specifically states that this will not work with the Ram Box because of that.

Hello, this ladder can be mounted on the left or right side of the tailgate on pretty much any truck with heights 28" to 45". Since this ladder is universal, I would check the height of your vehicle for compatibility
